Actually, McClure is NOT the "sole" or "last surviving" descendent of Lewis. He has a sister and he has a cousin, both of whom are grandsons of Lewis M. Crosley.

Powel's descendents are all over the country, including Dr. Powel Crosley, IV, in Sarasota, Florida,

CROSLEY: Two Brothers and a Business Empire that Transformed the Nation is extended with new research at the URL below.

And of course I meant to say "... both are grandchildren of Lewis M. Crosley" in the preceding post.

I would love to revise the book. I agree: too many one-sentence paragraphs. A little of that goes a long way. As for the rest ... well, I'm one who enjoys diagramming sentences, which unfortunately isn't taught in some schools.

well I am not sure if my first blog went through. I wanted to say that there are many more descendent of powel crosley whos son powel jr had 3 sons one named houston, who had 4 children. I know them and they live off his money today. I dont think they relized what a great man thier great grandfather was. thats sad huh?

Houston Crosley has 7 children. Five sons and two daughters. I know this for a fact as I am one of his daughters (adopted). I very much appreciate the legacy that Powel Crosley Jr created. I would love to have met him. While I enjoy dividends from a generous trust fund, I maintain a full-time job.
